Under the leadership and guidance of Central Howrah MLA and State Minister Arup Roy, the Trinamool Congress Minority Cell organized a massive protest rally and public meeting at Esplanade on Sunday. The demonstration was held to raise a united voice against what the party described as the atrocities and injustices of the BJP government.
The historic march witnessed enthusiastic participation from the presidents and office-bearers of Wards 19, 20, 31, 34, 36, and 37, who came together in solidarity to showcase people’s collective strength.
Abdul Qaiyum Ansari, President of the Central Howrah TMC Minority Cell, played a pivotal and dynamic role in spearheading the movement. His dedication and leadership were credited as key factors in the success of the protest.
The contributions of Islamuddin Lala, former councillor Ismat Ara, and Ward 20 President Rais Alam (popularly known as Sunny) were also acknowledged for their tireless efforts in shaping the event into a landmark demonstration.
Speakers at the rally stressed that unity and courage remain the true strength of the people, and this collective power would serve as the guarantee of future success and victories.
