Swami Vivekananda Yoga Center Inaugurated on Independence Day in South Howrah

Marking the 79th Independence Day, the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Center was formally inaugurated and felicitated by the South Howrah Vivekananda Foundation. The auspicious occasion witnessed the presence of several dignitaries from diverse fields, making it a memorable cultural and spiritual gathering.

Renowned personalities including poet Angshuman Chakraborty, senior journalist Shoibal Basu, and noted writer Tapas Chatterjee graced the event. Adding further prestige, former Mayor Saikat Chowdhury and other eminent guests were also present to lend their support to the initiative.

The inauguration was not just symbolic but also inspirational. Under the expert guidance of Krishna Kant Sai, students of the Yoga Center performed yoga demonstrations that left the audience deeply impressed. The program highlighted the values of discipline, wellness, and holistic living as envisioned by Swami Vivekananda.

The smooth management and organization of the event were overseen by Partha Bose and Sulekha De, who ensured that every segment of the program was conducted with precision and devotion.

The establishment of the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Center is seen as a significant step towards promoting physical fitness, mental peace, and spiritual awareness among the people of Howrah and beyond.
