In a powerful celebration that unites tradition with transformation, the Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar Rural Development Organization (ICVRDO) has announced its flagship event“Sharod Utsav 2025”, to be held at EZCC – Aikatan Ground, IA Block, Sector 3, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700097.

This year’s Durga Puja celebration will be unlike any other. Themed around the national developmental vision of “Viksit Bharat – 2047”, the festival seeks to reflect India’s aspiration of becoming a fully developed nation by the time it completes 100 years of independence.

“Sharod Utsav 2025” promises to go beyond the conventional bounds of cultural festivity. From October 8 to October 11, the following items will be distributed daily:

  • 500 sarees
  • 500 blankets
  • 500 mosquito nets
  • 500 umbrellas

This massive effort will provide practical support to over 8,000 people in need during the festive season ensuring warmth, protection, and dignity for those who often go unnoticed during grand celebrations.

“Sharod Utsav is not just a festival; for us, it’s a platform to foster community welfare and contribute to the ‘Viksit Bharat’ dream,” stated Mr. Bachhu Das, Secretary of ICVRDO.
