Pahchan Foundation Leads National Flag Collection Drive in Titagarh

In a significant step towards upholding the dignity of the tricolour and promoting civic responsibility, Pahchan Foundation organised a National Flag Collection Drive in Titagarh and adjoining localities. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from volunteers and community members, who collected numerous plastic and paper flags discarded on roadsides, drains, and garbage bins following Independence Day celebrations.

Through this drive, the Foundation issued a nationwide appeal, urging citizens to dedicate August 16 every year to the respectful collection and disposal of the national flag. The organisation underlined that safeguarding the honour of the flag is a collective duty, and that responsible disposal not only preserves national pride but also contributes to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

Expressing gratitude to its volunteers, the Foundation emphasised the importance of nurturing respect for the tricolour beyond ceremonial occasions, calling upon society at large to uphold reverence for the national flag throughout the year.
